Pinyin Bridge

The bridges are called Dapu in Mandarin and Pinyin. They are just different words for the same thing. However, there are certain things that are different between the two words.

For instance, the Pinyin uses the “h” instead of the “y”. The “h” is a sound that is generally hard to hear. Therefore, when these bridges were first built they were constructed without proper safety measures. This is why there are a lot of accidents on the Pinyin bridges. This could also be a reason why the emperor started using the Dapu bridges as well.
