The Government of China announced the lockdown in Wuhan and arranged all possible resources to combat against COVID-19. Wuhan, the epicenter of deadly coronavirus in China, put under quarantine to break the chain of the virus across the whole country. Wuhan locals quarantined at their homes and unable to go out of the city, while medical supplies and essential commodities provided inside.
Resources and treatment capacity of Hubei province increased by the 42,000 medical staff and 346 medical teams for the treatment. Moreover, Advanced medical facilities, Two Covid-19 special hospitals, build in the Wuhan within 8-10 days. Also, medical staff in the city even screened all the residents to find Coronavirus victims.
After Wuhan, lockdown expanded to the Hubei province first and then the whole country within a few days. During this tough time, only grocery stores and hospitals were opened, and rest all the things were closed, including transportations, non-essential public facilities like parks, cinemas, cafes, and so on. The order to maintain social distancing and avoid gatherings also passed by the government. Also, people advised to wore a face mask and gloves while going outside like vegetable markets and grocery shops.
Wuhan’s people with travel history put under quarantine for 14 days. Those who test positive for COVID-19 shifted to hospitals for further treatments. Government subsidies and medical insurance covered all medical and other expenses.

In China, the battle against COVID-19 was known as the ‘People’s War.’ Doctors and healthcare workers battling on the frontline, volunteers motivate people, and the common people help each other in several ways. Everyone was a warrior and every warrior require weapons, strength, and positivity to win the war.
